Peace
Sometimes I stumble, sometimes I fall
Sometimes I am tempted, sometimes I don’t understand at all
But Lord you are with me, to pick me up from the ground
And I sing your praises, for though I was lost, now I am found
I am weak, and lost without Your grace
But you bless me unconditionally, when You show me Your face
I am not worthy Lord, I never can be, no matter what I do
But I take comfort from the fact that my weakness is perfected in You
I ask Lord that you give me the wisdom that I lack, show me what to say
For so many have not heard Your word, so many have turned away
It breaks my heart to see how so many suffer never knowing to call upon Your name
If only they would, Lord, they would never be the same
The future is uncertain, and time slips away like grains of sand
But I will trust You, Father, for I know You will guide me with Your hand
Show me the way, Lord, guide my footsteps each day
Give me peace, Heavenly Father, in Your glory let me stay
No matter what my life brings, I won’t forget what You have done
I will remember Your sacrifice, Your only Son
I will not be pulled into the world, though the world will try it’s best
I will look to You, Lord, for in You I find true rest
