My Prayer
When storms come, it is hard to see through the pouring rain
It is hard to keep my focus on You, especially through my pain
It is easy to lose sight of all the things You have already done
You created the world, and because of sin, sacrificed Your only Son
But sometimes I forget that there are no limits to Your grace
There is nothing that You cannot do, and with You, nothing I cannot face
So Lord, I ask that you give me courage to endure all the trials that life may bring
Let me put my trust in You, and Your praises always sing
May I shout your name on high, even when I hear the wind roar
May I always trust that You are with me, and will be forevermore
You count my tears, Lord, and hold them in Your hand
Give me strength, Savior God, and when I am weak, help me to stand
Comfort me when my heart aches, when the pain I feel is too much to bear
When I stumble, take me in Your arms, Father, and hold me there
I pray all these things in Your holy name
Transform me, Lord, let me never be the same
